This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for all members, board directors, key volunteers, and employees, providing a framework for how we communicate and act as representatives of the Chamber.
Our commitment is to maintain the highest standards in all interactions and foster a positive, inclusive, and legally compliant environment. By embracing these shared values, we help create a welcoming and respectful space for everyone who supports and participates in the Chamber’s mission.
As a member of the North Tarrant Chamber of Commerce, I/we acknowledge that membership is a privilege. With this privilege comes the responsibility to ensure that all members understand and uphold the following Code of Conduct:
1. Professional Integrity
By joining the North Tarrant Chamber of Commerce, I/we affirm that we have read and understood this Code of Conduct and agree to adhere to its principles.
The Chamber reserves the right to deny participation to any company if, in its sole discretion, that participant’s business conduct or ethical behavior is deemed to potentially cast a negative light on the Chamber’s programs, projects, or services.

- Conduct business in a professional, honest, and ethical manner.
- Avoid practices that could bring discredit to the Chamber or its members.
- Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Any sexual harassment will not be tolerated and can end in membership termination.
- Physical or verbal behavior that repeatably makes others feel uncomfortable will be subject to review by Chamber personnel and if not corrected or modified can end in membership termination.
- Treat customers, employees, competitors, and business partners fairly and respectfully.
- Avoid deceptive or unfair marketing and sales practices.
- Maintain an environment that promotes diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect.
- Refrain from discriminatory practices in hiring, promotion, or service.
- Support efforts that improve the quality of life in our community.
- Encourage sustainable and socially responsible business practices.
- Promote a spirit of cooperation among fellow Chamber members.
- Support Chamber programs, events, and initiatives.
- Respect the confidentiality of information shared through Chamber events or committees, unless otherwise authorized or legally required.
- Seek to resolve conflicts amicably and, when necessary, utilize the Chamber's dispute resolution resources.
