EACH YEAR IN JUNE, the Chamber, Birdville ISD, and the Northeast Tarrant business community all team up on the VITAL LINK PROGRAM!
The program is an education/business partnership and your organization can participate by hosting one or more 8th grade students from Birdville ISD to work in your office/business for a few days in early June. The program places YOU as the VITAL LINK between the workplace, the classroom and their future.
YOU CAN HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR LIVES BY PARTICIPATING!
This program gives incoming eighth-graders the chance to come to your business and get their first taste of working in a real business environment. Students get the opportunity to gain real-world experience and your business gets to inspire young students (and you get FREE interns for four days!).
